The Russian Federation creates dozens of new positions around Moscow, reproducing the Soviet "small ring"
The construction of new positions for air defense reported the publication "Inflamed Time". The former Soviet "small air defense ring" in the Moscow region was intended to protect the capital from NATO air attacks. This was provided with the help of C-25 "Golden Eagle" complexes. The Jembob OSINT Research has been able to find at least 15 new positions to accommodate Russian shell complexes.
Those are located in several areas: researchers say that in decades, which have passed since the creation of the Soviet "air circuit", the territories around Moscow have been built by residential areas. Because of this, modern air defense complexes established by the Russian command in these regions cause serious losses for the newly erected residential areas when they try to knock down the drones.
Where the relief of the territory does not allow you to install air defense on the vertices, rocket launchers are placed on special towers. Such findings, according to analysts, suggest that the military of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation actually decided to recreate the old Soviet "small air circuit" around Moscow. In the days of the USSR it was never used.
