In the diplomatic department of Russia, international organizations, especially the UN and IAEA, were called on to immediately condemn the "provocative actions" and prevent the breach of the security of Kursk NPP, which, as stated by the official representative of the department Maria Zakharova, may become a large -scale man -made disaster in Europe. They also noted that Ukraine allegedly "undermines the IAEA postulate" on nuclear security.

The Foreign Ministry stated that Ukraine allegedly made "attempts to intimidate and terror", both in terms of entire regions and the international community in general, and called on "their joint efforts".
