In Ukraine, the portal "Children of War" - a platform for the search for children affected by Russian aggression - Darya Gerasimchuk was launched

The State Portal for Children - the Children's Children's Information Platform, which will assist law enforcement agencies to collect data on young Ukrainians who suffered during the war, in particular disappeared or moved to temporarily occupied territories and deported to the Russian Federation, has been launched in Ukraine. This was reported by the Advisor - the President of Ukraine on the Rights of the Child and Children's Rehabilitation Darya Gerasimchuk at a briefing on Monday.

According to the advisor - the authorized head of state, the number of children who physically suffer from the war is increasing daily. So, today 693 children were injured, 358 were killed, 203 have disappeared and at least 5754 were forcibly displaced and deported. At the same time, as of August 1, militiamen found 4039 children who were wanted, 47 managed to return from deportation.

“From open sources, we know that the aggressor country declares at least 450,000 displaced and deported children. And, unfortunately, they do not intend to return them, ”Daria Gerasimchuk said. She emphasized: now it is more important to get the most comprehensive and prompt information about such children to record, investigate crimes and save young citizens.

To this end, on the personal order of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the command of the head of state, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine together with the National Information Bureau, the Office of the Prosecutor General, the National Police, the Secretariat of the Ombudsman, the Ombudsman of Ukraine.

The information posted on the portal is a clear evidence of the genocide of Ukrainian children and crimes against humanity, which the Russian army performs about the Ukrainian people daily, ”Daria Gerasimchuk said.

Also, she said, to support the work of the portal, a consultation center at the office of the Ombudsman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was formed, where you can get an offline and online consultation. The portal performs two main functions: informing ("Children of War" - the only platform that provides current and consolidated data on children affected by the war against Ukraine against Ukraine, killed, injured, disappeared, disappeared or deported, and those who managed to search and save.
