The joy of being home again. The Metropolitan Fund of the PCU passed another turn to the homes of families who lost housing as a result of the Russian attack

On September 20, another turn of houses in the village of Lake (Gostomelskaya OTG, Kyiv region) took place. Blessed Bishop consecrated the newly built housing and handed it to the families. The joy of the soul we were able to bring this project to life, because a few months ago we visited these places and saw destruction here. So we have a desire to build temporary homes for people so that they can meet winter in them.

We are intended to do good, to show love for our neighbor during this difficult time of trials of war. Therefore, our Metropolitan Fund of the PCU together with the patron Andriy Matzolo puts this project into life. The homes are comfortable, beautiful, warm and equipped - we did everything to make people comfortable. We focused on the villages that were most affected by the occupation - Andreevka near Makarov, Lake and Gostomel in the Buchansky district, as well as Moshchun.

My home is also in the Kyiv region, so residents of these cities and villages are my neighbors. They are extremely strong people, despite trouble, they do not lower their hands, on the contrary, they disassemble the ruins and plan to restore their farms. The houses we pass to them are the first, though a small step in this direction, and it is a great joy for them - to be at home again.

The first houses, as part of the Assistance Program for the victims of Russian aggression, was transferred to families in the village of August. Andreevka in Kyiv region. In total, the Metropolitan Fund's social initiative received UAH 20 million from the Patrons of the Patrons of the Andriy Matsola Foundation. Thanks to these funds, the housing will receive 50 families from Kyiv region.
