Wanted to break the heating season in Kiev: SBU exposed Russian agents in the capital
According to security officers, an agent group was formed by an employee of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in the Rostov region after February 24 - it included four residents of Kiev. Their main task was to transfer data on the location of Ukrainian troops, thermal power plants and railway infrastructure. For each such report, Ukrainians received UAH 5 thousand. The calculations were made with the help of cryptocurrency wallets and bank cards, drawn up on third parties.
"The invaders were planned to be used to carry out a series of missile strikes in Kiev during the preparation for the heating season," the SBU reported. Ukrainian security officers managed to expose and detain the occupier manuals in time. During the searches, they found mobile phones with correspondence with Russian curator and bank cards. Three detainees have already been informed about suspicion of treason - they were taken into custody by court decision.
Another was suspected of illegal information. Recall that the SBU recently reported on the termination of the leakage of secret data on the production of aviation engines for combat aircraft and helicopters in Zaporozhye. If the transmission of information succeeded, it would allow to establish the production of aviation equipment in one of the countries of East Asia. We also wrote about the detention of a suspected treason of the former SBU head in Kharkiv region Roman Dudin.
