"Forced Step": In Ukraine, emergency shutdowns of light through rocket attacks were introduced

The limits have now been exceeded in 11 regions, resulting in emergency shutdowns," Ukrenergo said. The company explained that each distribution system operator draws up schedules of planned light shutdowns to balance energy consumption, holding it at a certain level. Exceeding the limit threatens the occurrence of accidents in the power system, and to prevent them used emergency shutdowns. On January 14, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired at Kyiv and Kiev region with rockets.

The authorities reported damage to infrastructure, fire and destruction as a result of the fall.
