For his part, Russian Presidential President Dmitry Peskov disagreed that on June 27, Russian troops struck a rocket strike on a civilian object in Kramatorsk. "The Russian Federation does not strike civilian infrastructure.

Striking is in one way or another related to military infrastructure," the Kremlin speaker said. The blow fell on a cafe, where many visitors, including children, were at this time.

Police of Donetsk region reported that according to preliminary data, Russia struck the city with the help of two C-300 missiles. In addition to the cafe building, private homes were also affected. Rescuers went to the scene and immediately took up the gaps, finding under the wreckage of the body of the dead. Among the dead were the twin sisters Yulia and Anna Aksenchenko, who would be 15 years old in September.
