Mobilization in Ukraine: can students call the army and in which cases
Citizens who receive higher or higher education and scientific rank are the right to delay in mobilization. Article 23 of the Law on Mobilization Training and Mobilization states that persons who receive full -time education have the right to defer. "Professional (vocational-technical), professional and higher education applicants, assistants, graduate students and doctoral students who study on day or dual forms of education,"-written in law.
This year, students of full -time and dual education should not be called during mobilization, but a student can go to the army at their own request. After writing the statement by the student, the Tax Code sends a message to the school where he studies, and the higher education automatically gives him academic leave at the time of service.
If the student does not want to be mobilized, in the case of receiving the summons he needs to submit a certificate of study in the military enlistment office. Delayed mobilization applies only to those who study on a daily or dual form of study. It does not apply to students in the correspondence form of study. Students who have completed the bachelor's degree but have not yet entered the magistracy can also call. At this time, they are not considered students, so they can call them.
In Ukraine, it is forbidden to travel to men outside the country, even if they are students of foreign universities. Therefore, if a person has received a Ukrainian or foreign university, he or she is entitled to defer from mobilization (the law does not prohibit it), but the border guards will not be released abroad. It should be reminded that in Ukraine there is a legislation that establishes a mobilization procedure for citizens who did not serve in the army for conscription.
