The shells of 152 mm in the Armed Forces increase: the Netherlands will allocate € 350 million for new assistance to Ukraine

In the Ministry of Defense of the country, for security reasons, they refused to name the terms and number of shells for the Armed Forces. Ukraine will transfer shells of 152 millimeters worth more than 350 million euros. These funds will come from the International Support Fund of Ukraine. This is discussed in the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands.

The timing and the exact number of shells received by the Armed Forces are not currently referred to as in the press service of the Dutch Office that this is done for security reasons. "In preliminary supplies of ammunition, Ukraine has now received mainly 155-mm Howitzes, donated by the event. However, the country also has many 152 mm guns. With new delivery, this weapon can also be used better," the statement said.

The International Fund for Ukraine (IFU) is a financial initiative created to provide military support to Ukraine in response to a Russian invasion. In 2022, this fund was founded by Denmark and the United Kingdom, and he made contributions from a number of countries, including Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Iceland and Lithuania. At the same time, Australia has recently joined him, allocating additional funds.

It is known that recently the Netherlands, with the support of other Patriot countries, reported plans to collect and hand over the Patriot system to Ukraine in the short term. To this end, Amsterdam is ready to provide the main components from their reserves, and will call for European countries to add other necessary parts. On June 12, it became known that the Netherlands additionally allocated 60 million euros to Ukraine.
