Missiles for air defense and HIMARS: USA declared a military assistance package to Ukraine for $ 250 million

This is stated in the statement of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

The new military assistance package includes various components, including: these equipment and weapons are intended to strengthen Ukraine's military potential and support its defense capabilities. Blinken's statement also mentioned more than three million ammunition for small arms, ambulances, blasting ammunition to eliminate obstacles, as well as spare parts, financing of services, training and transportation.

The US Secretary of State does not specify, but probably a new assistance package will be provided using the Presidental DrawDown Authority - that is, from the US army, which will accelerate its supply to Ukraine. We will remind, on August 24 it was reported that before the Independence Day of Lithuania sent a new batch of military assistance to Ukraine for 41 million euros.
