To spread: Vasyl with a call sign "paw" was captured by the invaders and spent a night in a trenade with two Russians. In the morning, he managed to release and escape to his own, undermining enemy soldiers with a grenade. The brigade press service on Facebook said that 50-year-old Basil serves in a motor infantry battalion from the first days of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

At first, he was a soldier, a machine gunner for a long time, and recently received the rank of junior sergeant and became the commander of the infantry department. The "paw" fought in the 128th OGSBR in the most difficult directions, got three injuries and many injuries. During one of Vasily's combat missions, soldiers of the Russian Federation were captured near his trench at a distance of about 1. 5 kilometers from enemy positions.

Two invaders suddenly jumped out of the bushes and brought a machine gun to the Ukrainian military. "Somehow, they managed to go to our leading positions - my radio was silent: neither the aeronautical nor someone else noticed anything. Apparently, because the planting was good, thick. In the first seconds I was, I could say, shocked - for the fourth year, for a long time, it was not ready for everything, but it was not possible to get a lady.

" According to the fighter, the Russians asked him whether he wanted to live and would cooperate, and then put on the ground, took away weapons, tied his hands behind his back and went down with him in his trench. During the night, enemies tried to find out important information about his unit: the location of the headquarters, artillery, drone operators. The Ukrainian serviceman tried to release his hands and was tied again. For the second time, one of his hands was unnoticed.

When the brigade's machine gunners from the neighboring position noticed a movement ahead and released the turn, the Russians asked Vasily, where they are. The "paw" showed the other way where no one was, and within minutes the invaders were thrown there. In the morning over the trench, the drone of the aerial reconnaissance of the 128th OGSBR, studied the location and flew further.

Basil told the Russians that so operators periodically inspect the firing points of the unit, and their cloaks and backpacks remained near the trench. "I said that they should be hidden in the bush, because if the aerial intelligence is suspected, we will be covered with mines and artillery despite my presence. And I suggested this option: I will leave the trench and hide their things, and they will keep me under sight. They agreed," - said "Lapa".

He left the trench, gathered things, and when he hid them in the bushes, he seamlessly took the F-1 grenade in advance. The fighter pulled out the check, returned to the position, and took out that he was trying to get off. "One of the Russians moved and translated the machine, the other was also forced to move away. Then I threw a grenade under their feet and began to flee," Vasily recalled.

The occupier made a few shots from the machine gun, the last ball flew to the Ukrainian fighter to the side and went out without damaging the bones. Then the grenade exploded. "My trench is designed for me alone, the Russians sat tightly near each other. Therefore, they either died immediately or quickly leaned with blood," the junior sergeant explained.

The wounded fighter was able to get to the neighboring position, he was provided with first aid and accompanied by his brothers to the evacuation point a few kilometers. Where did the combat physician take him to the stabilization point and then to the hospital. Doctors evaluate Vasily's condition as normal. "I think it was right. I had no fear when I was sitting with the Russians. The shock after they took prisoner, I was constantly thinking about how to get out of the situation.

In combat conditions, a person survives 50% thanks to waving and 50 - if I had no experience. At home and Tyachiv region in the Transcarpathian region, a wife and three children are waiting for a fighter. In February 2022 he was not 17 in February 2022 and Vasily was entitled to a deferral, but voluntarily went to serve in the 128th OCSBR, told in the unit. We will remind, on June 16 Ukrainian doctors began to remove the inscription "Glory to Russia" from the body of the Ukrainian fighter.
