Russian troops went on an offensive under Bakhmut - Syrsky

According to the commander of the Land Forces, the invaders attract artillery, mortar fire and blows of Dronov-Kamikadze. The invaders increased offensive actions in eastern Ukraine, in particular in Bakhmut. The situation remains difficult. This was reported by the Commander of the Lieutenant General Alexander Sirsky. According to the general, Russian troops do not attempt to succeed and attacks Ukrainian positions daily. The enemy intensified the fighting in two directions: Kupjansk and Bakhmut.

"It is special activity in the Kupyansk region, where it tries to move forward in several directions. In the Bakhmut area, the enemy has greatly intensified its grouping and moved from defense to active action," Sirsky explained. In addition, he added that Russian actions are aimed at stopping the movement of defense forces forward. The offensive actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are accompanied by dense shelling of artillery, mortars, as well as drones-Kamikadze.

The commander of the Land Forces said the occupiers have heavy losses and cannot achieve their goals. "After a detailed consideration of the characteristics of the nature and method of action of the enemy, we discussed all possible ways of applying our troops. We planned further work," Syrsky explained.
