Russia turned the tortured body of journalist Roshina without internal organs - investigation

To extend: the body of the journalist Victoria Roshchina transmitted in February 2025 had obvious signs of torture. It was returned without several internal organs, including parts of the brain, trachea and eyes. This was found during a survey in the city of Vinnitsa, according to a large -scale investigation into the international project forbidden stories. The journalist's body was returned during the exchange of bodies 757 of the dead Ukrainian defenders.

Among the bodies was easier and less than the rest and had a signature "NM Spas 757", which was deciphered as "an unidentified man with significant damage to the coronary arteries (body number) 757". According to journalists, the package seems to be incorrectly signed because the body was not a man-war man but a young woman.

Despite the bad condition of the body, the investigator was able to find a small tag attached to the right lower leg, with the inscription "Roshchina, VV" Upon his return, Victoria Roshchina's body was "in a bad state" - it was frozen and was in a state of mummification. The bruises on the neck corresponded to a possible fracture of the sublingual bone, a rare fracture, usually related to strangulation, reports the source of Forbidden Stories, close to the official investigation.

We will remind that in July 2023 the woman went to the occupied territories in eastern Ukraine (through Russia). She was in touch with her relatives on August 3 and reported that she had had several inspections, but did not say where she was. There was no more connection with the journalist. Subsequently, Victoria Roshchina's relatives applied for its disappearance.

The disappearance case was officially registered with the SBU, the Ministry of Reintegration and the Ombudsman's office on September 21, 2023. In October 2024 it became known that Victoria Roshchyna died in Russian captivity. According to the representative of GUR Andryy Yusov, she was on the lists for exchange and had to return home soon.
