Reserves will be enough for years: the Russian Federation can restore up to 1000 tanks a year - tank expert

In the Russian Federation after the collapse of the USSR there are huge reserves of armored vehicles. According to expert Mykola Salamakha, the enemy is able to restore tanks hundreds. The Russian army has lost several thousand tanks since a full -scale invasion of Ukraine. Nevertheless, armored vehicles from the occupiers allow to continue fighting. The tank expert Mykola Salamakh said this in a comment "Liga. net". According to the Oryx project, the invaders lost 2661 tank from February 24, 2022.

The Ukrainian General Staff gives the figure 6265 tanks since the beginning of a full -scale war. Despite these data, there are reserves in the Russian Federation that will allow tanks to provide the army. According to Mykola Salamakh, Russian troops can pull and introduce up to 1000 cars a year. "Inventories in warehouses are enough to put the corps from the highways and put up to 1000 units of cars a year. Production T-90m can bring up to 100 units a year.

Approximately 200 more will simply be repaired,"-explains Salamakh. Therefore, it is important for Ukraine to localize foreign production. The German manufacturer Rheinmetall will launch the production of armored vehicles in the Ukrainian territory. Another German company FFG is building a repair center to restore a number of samples of German weapons and military equipment.
