GUR at Golan Heights: Frames of Destruction of RF Menters in Syria appeared (video)

According to Kirill Budanov, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Ukrainian Specialty will destroy Russian war criminals anywhere in the world, wherever they are. Ukrainian special forces of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU) and Syrian rebels carry out successful attacks on Russian mercenaries in Syria.

The video published by the Kyiv Post recorded the actions of the special unit of the GRU "Khimik" together with the Syrian opposition against mercenaries who are fighting on the side of Bashar Assad. The footage dated March 2024 shows how Ukrainian special forces and Syrian rebels attack hostile checkpoints, strongholds, hiking patrols and columns of military equipment of the Russian Federation in Golan altitudes.

The interlocutor with the GUR, who spoke on the conditions of anonymity, reported that since the beginning of the year, the rebels, with the support of Ukrainian fighters, have caused numerous blows to Russian military facilities in southern Syria, where Russian troops are concentrated. Attacks are carried out using grenade launchers and homemade mortars "Tarab". The video can see the destruction of defense positions, attacks of foot patrols and vehicles.

The source in intelligence confirmed that there are hostile checkpoints, strongholds and columns of military equipment under regular attacks. Russia's interference in Syria began in 2015 to support President Bashar Assad. However, in recent years, the situation has changed - in the fall of 2023, Moscow overturned some of the troops and equipment from Syria to the battlefield in Ukraine, which made Russian troops in the Asian country more vulnerable to attacks.

Meanwhile, Russia has created numerous recruitment centers for the purpose of recruiting Syrian mercenaries to participate in hostilities in Ukraine. The recruitment is carried out under the supervision of the "Reconciliation Center for Refugees" at the Khmeimim Air Force, where Russian passports are issued to mercenaries and included in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

And in May 2023, the head of GUR Kirill Budanov promised to "destroy Russian war criminals anywhere in the world, wherever they are. " In conclusion, it is said that in addition to Syria, Ukrainian special forces continue hunting for the Protective mercenaries of the Private Military Company "Wagner" in Sudan.
