Standard sights for MK-19 grenade launchers make it possible to beat only direct guidance, but now the military will be able to shoot accurately from shelters. In the near future, the Volunteers of the Foundation "Come back alive" want to put on the front for Ukrainian military sights for American MK-19 grenade launchers, which will allow them to more effectively impress the enemy. This was reported by the Fund's press service on Thursday, July 13.

Sights are intended for shooting from closed positions (in this case, a grenade launcher fires on a hinged trajectory on a target that is outside the direct visibility). According to the Ukrainian military themselves, the MK-19 grenade launchers received from the United States have only a sight for direct guidance. It is not quite convenient and effective in the realities of the fighting.

Therefore, the Instructor Department of the Fund "Return the Living" was denied on the principle of artillery sight, which is on the grenade launchers of Soviet production. The fund says that they have already found manufacturers of such sights and even protested them on the MK-19 in conditions close to combat. The technique has shown themselves well, and now volunteers want to provide 150 grenade launchers. In addition, volunteers want to provide the Armor software on the front.

With the help of them, Ukrainian fighters will be able to interact with drones. The drones, for their part, will help the grenade launcher in conditions of limited visibility to accurately coordinate the MK-19 fire. It is an automatically easel tape grenade launcher developed in the United States. They have been used in hostilities since the summer months of 1968. This technique can produce both single shots and queues.
