The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation lost more than half of the Su-30cm fighters (video)

In addition, five were destroyed and three Su-24 bombers were damaged. In the fall of 2024, the losses in the 43rd regiment continued.

In September, the SU-30CM from the portable anti-aircraft missile system was shot in the fighting area by the soldiers of the Special Forces of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine. In the spring of 2025 there was a unique episode in world military history. On May 2, the GRU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with the SBU and defense forces, first used the sea drone, armed with AIM-9 rocket, to destroy the Russian Su-30cm in the Black Sea.

The current loss near Snake has become the seventh for the 43rd airfield. At the same time, damage to the list of losses is added: on July 1, 2025, the Ukrainian long-range drone UJ-26 "Beaver" struck the Saki airfield, which led to new damage to the equipment. Thus, with the 12 Su-30cm, with which the regiment joined the war, only a small number of cars remains capable.
