According to American analysts, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were regroumed near the mite and want to repel the settlement, but now the occupiers do not have the necessary combat capabilities. The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction in Donetsk region. This is stated in the report of the Institute of War Study (ISW) of September 30.

Analysts report, referring to the words of the Russian "military" that the Ukrainian forces have recently moved forward, grasping the height in the area of ​​Kite. "Warriors" also write about fierce battles that continue near Kigshchiyivka, Andreevka and Kurdyumivka. The Russian blogger associated with the Kremlin stated that on September 28, Ukrainians crossed the railway near the mite. According to him, the Russian forces managed to push the Armed Forces west of the railway line.

The report also states that on September 29, the Russians continued limited attacks in the Bakhmut district, but did not achieve any confirmed success. The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that Ukrainian troops reflected the attack of Russian troops in the Kite district.
