"Will not produce any results": Erdogan urged to include Russia in negotiations with Ukraine

The Turkish leader said that Ankara would continue to work to restore the inappropriate Black Sea Grain Agreement concluded between Moscow, Kiev and the UN. Peace plans without Russia's participation will not have the necessary effect and will not produce any results. This was stated by Turkish President Redyr TaiP Erdogan, Reuters reports.

He noted that it is necessary to avoid any decisions and steps that can exacerbate the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and possibly spread the conflict to NATO members. Speaking at the morning with foreign ambassadors in Ankara on the eve of Ramadan, the Turkish politician said that his state would continue to work on the restoration of the inappropriate Black Sea Grain Agreement concluded between Moscow and Kiev and the UN.

"By expressing our support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, we have already said that peace plans will not produce any results without Russia's participation," Erdogan said. According to the agency, the politician meant the planned Ukrainian peaceful summit in Switzerland. Turkey supports Ukraine's territorial integrity. The country has provided our country with military and political support, but also retains warm relations with Russia and opposes sanctions on it.

Recep TaiP Erdogan, President of Turkey, expressed his desire to hold a peaceful summit with the participation of the Russian Federation. He stated this at a press conference with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. He also stated that there was a discussion of security in the Black Sea and grain corridors. At the same time, the Ukrainian politician responded to such a statement that he does not see how negotiations with a country that destroys everything.
