The police were sent in search of saboteurs. As a result of the night shootout, four people, including three military and police, were killed. The incident occurred on the eve of a massive blow to the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. On the night of September 12 to September 13, the police of the temporarily occupied Sevastopol received information that saboteurs were operating in the city. This was reported in the local Telegram channel "Typical Crimea".

"At night, Sevastopol police received information that saboteurs were operating in the city and sent several outfits in search of them," the message said. It was noted that in Sevastopol there was a shootout. The conflict killed four people, including three military and police. It should be added that at the time of publication the occupying power of Crimea did not comment on the night shootout in Sevastopol.

As a result, two vessels of the Russian Federation were damaged. It is about the diesel-electric submarine "Rostov-on-Don" and the large landing ship "Minsk". Later it became known that the blow to Sevastopol could have been caused by the winged Storm Shadow / Scalp-EG missiles.
