The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to buy 750 combat armored vehicles of different types from domestic manufacturers. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Lieutenant General Ivan Havrylyuk in an interview for the Armyinform. According to him, now Ukrainian manufacturers meet the needs of the Armed Forces only partially.

The reasons for this are different. "For a long time, not all profile companies could adjust the conveyor production of equipment in a short time. At the same time, the President has set the task of the maximum loading of the enterprises of the domestic defense, expanding and scaling of production," Gavriluk said. According to him, the Ministry of Defense is about to order more than 750 combat armored vehicles of different types from domestic manufacturers.

In the same interview, Havrylyuk said that in the state budget in 2024 on the article of weapons, military equipment and ammunition for the Armed Forces allocated UAH 255 billion.
