Without rockets, the sky will not close: why Kyiv's air defense was defenseless against the Russian Federation on July 8

Military observer Alexander Kovalenko explains how the Russians managed to break through Kyiv's air defense, which he called the best in Europe. But no matter how beautiful it is, without the means of damage it will not work - and these means the event does not give enough . . . How did you manage to strike in Kiev on July 8? This question sounds constantly non-stop, especially given what I called the echelorated air defense, formed in Kiev at one time, one of the best in Europe, if not the best.

To explain what happened on July 8, I use the visualization of the rocket flight trajectories and the types of means used by Monitor telegrams. First of all, I want to pay attention to the rocket nomenclature, which was attacked by Kiev. This is rockets: in Kiev, a combined complex of rockets struck from 10:15 to 10:45, that is, the blow was maximally synchronized in time.

In other words, the Kiev air defense had to repel the various nomenclature of the means of damage within a maximum period (TTH I did not indicate), each type of which requires the use of its counteraction algorithm, while using the enemy of different flight trajectories, which focused extremely. Obviously, the blow was thought out in detail. As always, we have not enough air defense. Especially on the floor.

After all, look at the map if in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, where X-101/555 were flew, there were enough SPRs, they would knock out a large part of these missiles. Or CLABR CRMB, which flew all Ukraine. Ukraine lacks air defense facilities to completely close the airspace. And while the Western partners are in no hurry to resolve this issue, Russia is using the situation to spread its terror.
