The country's military-political leadership regularly receives information about the state of the aggressor troops to take offensive actions. The repetition of a large -scale invasion of Russian troops from the north is not expected in the near future, but such risks exist in the south and east of Ukraine.

This was stated by the presidential representative in the Verkhovna Rada, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedor Venislavsky with reference to Ukrainian intelligence data, Ukrinform reports. He noted that on Wednesday, February 8, at a closed meeting of the Defense Committee, deputies heard representatives of intelligence agencies.

"Currently, there are no signs of formation of offensive strikes in the territory of the Republic of Belarus or in all other territories except the eastern and southern directions . . . Today, threats, except for the eastern and southern directions, are not repetition of any large -scale actions .

The People's Deputy assured that the country's military-political leadership regularly receives information on the state of readiness of the aggressor troops, as well as the number of personnel, the availability of weapons and plans for possible offensive actions.
