Russia is likely to use immigrant and ethnic organizations to form voluntary units. They are planned to be used for invasion of Ukraine. About it writes the American Institute for War Research (ISW). The head of the Society of the Central Asian Uzbeks of the Perm Territory Jahonggir Jalov announced that Uzbek citizens living or working in the Perm region should form a volunteer battalion of Amir "to support Russian troops in Ukraine" in the Perm region.
Dzhalolov noted that Uzbeks are obliged to exist in Russia by the Russian people, and therefore should participate in the war against Ukraine. As previously reported, the Russian Federation began to form the so -called "Sobanin Regiment", named after the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobanin and partially funded from the city budget.
