Need more: Zelensky has declared a shortage of weapons for successful counter -offensive

According to the deputy chairman of OP Igor Zhovkva, more armored vehicles and artillery are required to effectively release the occupied territories. Deputy Head of Presidential Office Igor Zhovkva stated that Ukraine was not enough weapons to carry out a successful counter -offensive. He said this in an interview with the British newspaper The Times, published on June 3. Zhovka noted that all available funds must be used to start an effective counterattack.

"If you want to start a successful counter -offensive, you need everything that is at your disposal, including artillery, armored vehicles and tanks, so we probably do not have enough," Zhovkva told British journalists. Zhovkva also mentioned that Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited many countries in the last month because of the need to receive more weapons. These trips were aimed at finding opportunities to strengthen Ukraine's military potential and purchase new weapons.

According to him, the army is ready for surgery, but it is not known how much time it will take. The President also noted that a counter -offensive can cause heavy losses for the country.
