The State Duma of the Russian Federation has made a law on the prohibition of "Childfrei propaganda"

The authors of the project believe that the propaganda of conscious childlessness leads to "washing traditional values. They proposed to change the law "on the protection of children from information that harm their health and development," adding a prohibition of "Propaganda Childfrey" there. They stated that Childfrey's ideology "came from the West" and has become widespread among Russian youth. The authors clarify that the movement is the philosophy of hedonism, which reduces the whole meaning of human existence to idleness and satisfying personal needs.

In their opinion, an adult can consciously refuse to have children, it is her personal choice. But they gather "immature baby minds". "Ideas of lazyness and childlessness can form distorted settings for children for the future," said Kurulty Kurulty Konstantin Tolkachev. The authors of the bill also believe that Childfrey's ideology forms the basis of destructive social behavior, which goes against traditional family values ​​and state policy of the Russian Federation.
