"Full Cycle": The Russian Federation releases armored vehicles from occupied Ukraine - Defense Express
The Southern Mining and Metallurgical Complex on the occupied Donbass, for example, actively supplies raw materials for the production of tanks to Uralvagonzavod. About it writes the portal Defense Express. Some enterprises were completely destroyed as a result of the invasion, for example, in Mariupol. While other factories in the Zaporizhzhia region, occupied in 2022, as well as Lugansk and Donetsk since 2014, were mostly not injured and retained their production capabilities.
In addition, the seizure of ore deposits of the Zaporozhye region provided the Russians with a full cycle of production of different types of steel and its derivatives. Already in the summer of 2022 the Southern Mining and Metallurgical Complex (PGMK) began supply to the Russian Federation. This company is controlled by Yenakiyevsky and Makiyevsky Metallurgical Plants, Makiivkox, Yasinovatsky Coke Plant, Komsomol Ore Management, Alchevsky Metallurgical Plant and Stakhanov Ferro -Alloys Plant.
The PGMK is owned by Yevgeny Yurchenko, according to some information related to Medvedchuk, a businessman. In 2021, the company moved to him from Sergei Kurchenko. Directors at the listed factories - party, from "Unina Rossi", are conducting a pre -election agitation. In 2022, the Alchevsky Metallurgical Combine sold products "Uralvagonzavod" (22. 5 thousand tons of metal) for 2 billion rubles. Other metombinates were joined in the production of steel for the Russians: Yenakiyevsky and Makiivsky.
There are doubts that the supply of steel to billions of rubles by different combins only from the occupied Donbass went to production only wagons, according to the Russian media. In 2022, the supply of ore from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhya region, from the Zaporozhye Iron Ore. That is, the Russian Federation receives raw materials to continue the war against Ukraine from the Ukrainian subsoil.
The cooperation of "Uralvagonzavoda" and PGMK continued in 2023, in the summer in Alchevsk the company representatives came again. On November 17, a new cooperation agreement was concluded. The final statistics for the year about cooperation in the PGMK with "Uralvagonzavod" were not made public, but representatives of the branches declared the growth of their own production. To complete everything, in December 2023 a thick leaf shop opened at the Alchevsk plant.
Thick leaf steel is used in the production of armored tanks. According to analysts, we can safely say that Donbass steel goes to the production of armor of Russian tanks. There are probably other examples of exploitation of Ukrainian natural resources and production capacity in the occupied territories. At the same time, the participation of PGMK and Uralvagonzavod in the chain of the Russian military-industrial complex makes them legitimate goals for potential missile strokes of the Armed Forces.
