Geopolitical Alliance: The Russian Federation and China are on the verge of a military union - experts
On December 25, the American Business Insider Analytical Portal wrote on December 25, referring to the experts surveyed. Analysts noted that Moscow and Beijing seek to use global instability to harm the United States and their allies, approaching the creation of a military alliance. At the same time, the rivalry between the US and the Russian-Chinese partnership is manifested in conflicts around the world.
"It is obvious that two states view themselves as military partners, and that this partnership is becoming more and more experienced, even if it is not a formal alliance in the Western sense," said Atlas Group CEO Jonathan Ward. Similar trends are viewed on the example of the situation in the Middle East, where Russia and China have joined Iran and criticize Israeli gas attacks in order to destroy the Hamas terrorist group supported by Tehran.
The United States, for their part, provides military assistance and diplomatic support. As for the war in Ukraine, according to experts, China closely monitors the conflict to understand how the world will react if it begins to implement plans to capture Taiwan control. Word also notes that as the end of China and Russia are increasingly coordinating their military resources. In the last two years alone, both parties conducted a number of military exercises.
Moscow also sold China Su-25 fighters, Mi-17 helicopters and C-400 air defense systems and handed Beijing submarine technologies that can give NVAC (China's People's Liberation Army) preference in war with US Allies in the Pacific. In addition, the leaders of the countries, as Putin recently stated, pledged to cooperate in the field of high -tech weapons development.
The representative of the Committee on Public Administration (CEPA) Chels Michta noted that although the leaders of the two countries did not sign the official military union, such steps should be of serious concern in the US and their allies. "The full-scale Chinese-Russian alliance will create a threat to the United States, which they have not encountered since the end of the Cold War," she said.
Meanwhile, the authors of the material note that some experts are still skeptical of the stability of the Russian-Chinese alliance, pointing to the long-standing tension between states and China's desire to maintain strong ties with the profitable western markets.
"And the United States, in turn, can still cope with both threats, but it will require a significant increase in the distribution of the burden, especially among European allies, which now saw the true consequences of geopolitical" coordination "of Russia and China," Vard summed up.
