President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. The leaders discussed the situation on the forefront and primary defense needs of Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Emmanuel Macron for the strategic view and willingness to help what Ukrainian soldiers need. The conversation discussed in detail about the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense, including the supply of missiles for SAMP/T systems, and the financing of drones-interceptors.

The parties agreed on the preparation of joint decisions with partners at the level of defense ministers and foreign ministers on new steps in protecting the lives of Ukrainians from Russian strikes. In addition, France expressed his willingness to take additional pilots to study on Mirage aircraft. Volodymyr Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron also discussed further steps in the format of the coalition and the implementation of the agreements reached at the recent meeting in Rome.
