Ukraine is interested not only in foreign weapons, but also intends to jointly produce different types of weapons with other states. In the fall of this year, the first Defense Industrial Forum will be held, which will attend world and Ukrainian weapons manufacturers. This was reported by Dmytro Kuleba, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, during a meeting with Czech colleague Jan Lipavsky. According to him, in Ukraine the production of weapons will increase several times.

The event will be attended by hundreds of world weapons manufacturers invited to participate. Ukrainian companies will also take part. "I invite Czech companies to join . . . " Kuleba said. The diplomat stressed that Ukraine is interested not only in foreign weapons. Our state should also participate in the joint production of weapons. "This is the situation that everyone benefits," Kuleba said.

The diplomat is now in the Czech Republic on a visit concerning the preparation for the Parliamentary Summit of the Crimean Platform. The event will take place in Prague in October. The Foreign Ministry emphasized that Ukraine has a unique expertise and technology. The development of the defense industry requires the help of partners.

According to diplomats, the first Defense Industrial Forum should become a platform that will develop new unions and strategies for international security support, which will start joint projects for implementation. The largest weapons in the world, together with the military-political leadership of Ukraine and partner countries, will be the initiators of such ideas.

The purpose of the forum is to unite Ukrainian and producers from other states for common long -term and systematic strengthening of Ukraine's defense capability. Participants will be able to exchange technologies, systematic maintenance and repair of equipment, adjustment of joint production, strengthen the defense potential of both Ukraine and allies on the basis of NATO technologies and weapons.
