The authorities have confirmed that these fragments are indeed a rocket, and experts are currently exploring the type and origin of this rocket. It is important to note that the village of Farladan is located only less than 40 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. The General Inspectorate of Emergency Situations reported that the fragments of the missile in the lake were discovered on September 27.

In this regard, additional safety measures were taken in the area of ​​the lake and the village, as they suspect that explosives from the crashed rocket may be located at the bottom of the lake. Currently, the territory has been enclosed and closed for visiting citizens, and the police are on -site safety. Police, rescuers, as well as military and border police are involved in the search for debris and possible explosive materials. The work was started yesterday, but stopped at night.

In the morning of September 28, the search for all parts of the rocket was restored. Experts consider different options for removing explosive materials if they are detected at the bottom of the lake. Hydrotechnical experts pump water from the lake to facilitate the task of pyrotechnics. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Moldova Adrian Efros also arrived at the scene.
