To spread: China has demonstrated a new self-propelled anti-aircraft missile-harvest complex (SDGC) SWS3, designed to combat air-flying, from Kamikadze and FPV drones to winged rockets and high-precision aircraft. The system is already deployed in the light infantry brigades of the People's Liberation Army of China (NVAK). This was reported by Defense Express observers.

The SWS3 SMS3 is built according to the integrated system scheme: it combines two automatic 35mm guns and launchers of small-sized FB-10A anti-aircraft missiles. The complex is placed on an armored chassis with a wheel formula of 4 × 4 or 6 × 6, which makes it more mobile than the traditional tracked CPGC. In this case, the possibility of fully autonomous work without external targets is stated.

Optical-electronic and radar modules are used as means of detection and guidance, and the fire control system supports the simultaneous use of cannon and rocket weapons. This approach increases the likelihood of defeat of different types of goals, in particular during massive combined attacks, when both drones and missiles, and planning ammunition can operate in one area.

SWS3 can function as part of a general military unit, providing cover on a march or in the area of ​​concentration, so it can be integrated into an echelorated air defense system, interacting with larger anti -aircraft systems and external intelligence. According to their architecture and tasks, experts write, SWS3 is conceptually close to the Russian SDGC "Armory-C1", which also combines artillery and missile remedies for air threats.

However, the Chinese system shows the focus on mobility: the wheel chassis increases the speed of overturning and deployment, which is especially important in modern maneuverable conflicts. Yes, "shell-C1" has an advantage in the form of a tracked version, which provides patency in off-road conditions.

At the same time, it is unknown how effective the stated characteristics of SWS3 are in the conditions of real fighting - now only basic information has been provided without confirmed firing range, accuracy of guidance and response time. Earlier it was reported that the Chinese weapon manufacturer Norinco has introduced the Bullet Curtain air defense system capable of destroying rockets and switches.
