Moscow Mayor supports the war at the expense of citizens from poor regions - British intelligence

According to analysts, residents of the Russian capital are protected from participation in hostilities and forced construction companies to perform quotas from a set of volunteers among citizens from Central Asia and Dagestan. Moscow Mayor Serhiy Sobiangin continues to support the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, but in every way tries to protect the inhabitants of the capital from participation in it and uses residents of other regions.

This is stated in the British intelligence report of July 11. According to analysts, the municipal authorities of Moscow began to threaten construction firms and promises to deprive them of contracts, unless they are put in the quotas in the near future from a set of volunteers to work in Ukraine. By the end of the summer, one company should recruit about 30 people who will have to go to occupied parts of Ukraine.

First of all, as noted in British intelligence, this step of ethnic minorities and citizens from the poorest Russian regions will affect this, including Dagestan. Moscow can also use Central Asian citizens who work as builders in the capital. "Most likely, this step is at least silently approved by the mayor of Moscow by Sergei Sobanin. This continues his track record of attempts to minimize the impact of conflict on more wealthy Muscovites while supporting hostilities," the message reads.

We will remind, on July 6 analysts with ISW noted that in Moscow are preparing for the next rebellion and city battles. The police of the Moscow region were going to train for possible battles in capitals, but not all security forces want to participate in it. On July 4, it was reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called drones in Moscow and Moscow, a terrorist attack and placed a primary responsibility for it in the US and NATO.
