Ukrainian Air Force helicopters will be equipped with unique sensors: how they will protect against rockets of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

The first 16 Ukrainian helicopters by German sensors from Hensoldt will equip the Czech company Lom Praha. Hensoldt, a supplier of sensory military decisions, has signed a contract that will provide the helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the most modern sensory technologies of detection and self-defense, reports Defense-Aerospace.

The order includes 16 AMPS sensory decisions (on -site anti -missile system), and the order amount is unknown, but "is in the range of millions with a two -digit number," the source in the company told reporters. Under the terms of the Hensoldt Agreement, the Czech System Integrator Lom Praha will be engaged in the establishment of Ukrainian military helicopters. The Hensoldt Anti -Range Anti -Rape is a flexible autonomous self -defense system for helicopters and aircraft.

Its modular design makes it easy to configure AMPS in accordance with specific operational requirements and for different tasks. AMPS parts are the launching sensor, Milds, improved control and display unit and active confirmation system, which determines the range and speed of the missiles detected and eliminates erroneous anxiety. Existing counter -commodity (CMDS) systems on helicopters can continue to operate with the current AMPS configuration.

Military experts say that a significant percentage of aircraft and helicopters in battle is usually caused by the use of infrared missiles (IR SPRs). In addition, laser and radar threats are becoming more common in combat areas. To reliably detect these AMPS threats, you can be equipped with warning systems about missiles, lasers and radars to provide the best possible protection by quickly detecting. Hensoldt already protects more than 2000 different aircraft and helicopters with AMPS worldwide.
