Russian PKS lost the Su-25 Storm: Incident Details (Video)

To spread: on June 13, the Russian air-space forces lost another Su-25 riverbed as a result of the aviation incident. According to preliminary information, the aircraft was not lost due to fire exposure, and the pilot seemed to be catapult and safe. The details of the event, including the causes of the accident and the place of fall, are not officially disclosed, but the Russian channel Aviahub has confirmed the fact of loss of Su-25.

Commenting on the incident, the "miller" observers noted that the problems with the operation of the Russian Su-25-25 became systemic in the background of increasing intensity of use of assault aviation in the war against Ukraine. The average age of these machines is about 40 years, which leads to frequent accidents and non -adhesive losses. Thus, in March 2025, a similar incident occurred in the Primorsky Territory during a training flight: both engines were refused.

In 2023, due to technical malfunctions, two more SU-25 were lost-one fell into the Azov Sea during combat departure, the other in the Belgorod region. Both pilots were killed. In September 2022, the assault brown crashed immediately after the takeoff due to the refusal of the management system. In addition, some of the lost machines are associated with insufficient coordination between the Russian Aviation and its own air defense.

In a number of cases, Russian anti -aircraft units themselves opened fire on their planes. For example, in December 2023, the commander of the Air Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk informed that the Su-25 was destroyed by Russian air defense. In addition, the losses of Su-25-25 as a result of collisions with drones and power lines were recorded, which is associated with the tactics of flights characteristic of these assault rooms at low altitudes.
