The victory in the war will be difficult. And not to achieve without creating a new, effective economy
Simply put, after the escape of the Russian troops from Kiev, the authorities were convinced of the rapid victory - and therefore did not consider it necessary to prepare for a difficult grueling war. Also, very high rates were made on the collapse of the Russian economy as a result of sanctions. And there was a clear belief that over time, the Russian army would weaken and later collapse, which was partially supported by successes in Kharkiv region and Kherson.
And our army will only intensify through support. And all these expectations, along with the complete inaction on the internal economic front, have led to the fact that we lost precious time. That is, they did not prepare their own economy and allowed the Russians to recover. Of course, now the Russian army has largely lost its combat capability and is unable to conduct large offensive operations. And their economy, despite the measures of economic mobilization, also remains quite ineffective.
Only we can not use this weakness to the fullest because of our own inefficient economy. And in the best traditions of the Soviet Army, we tried this inefficiency to compensate for the live power and our own heroism of the military. It was very clearly shown in the defense of Bakhmut, when our boys were forced to protect their positions with a light small arms.
