Mobile Orthodox temples will appear in the Russian army on the basis of UAZ "Patriot"

A representative of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation stated that in experimental mobile temples Russian soldiers and officers will carry out worship and participate in religious ceremonies. On the basis of the UAZ "Patriot" in Russia will create mobile field temples, which was told by the head of the department for cooperation with religious associations of the Main Military and Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of Russia Oleg Veselkov.

The corresponding task has already been given the design bureau "Mobile complexes and systems", writes Russian edition Interfax. The representative of the army of the aggressor country said that the systems will be produced according to the needs of believers for servicemen for worship and religious rites. The material states that the samples will be created on the basis of the UAZ "Patriot", as well as field specimens on the basis of the Russian army tent.

According to Veselkov, military priests are always with troops, even on ships and submarines. He also noted their presence in the war in Ukraine. "The spiritual support of military personnel and civilian staff is provided by military priests in Russia, Ukraine, Syrian Arab, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, in the peacekeeping forces in Nagorny Karabakh," Veselkov said.
