"Truba 3.0": As Russian troops try to break through the defense near Kupyansk
Russian troops intensified the offensive on Kupyansk Kharkiv region, moving in the northern quarters of the city, according to Deepstate analysts. At the same time, on September 13, the General Staff of the Armed Forces stated that there were no Russian troops in Kupyansk and the situation is completely under the control of the Ukrainian forces.
However, on September 15, the General Staff reported that in the Kupyansk direction of the last day the forces of defense repelled the assault actions of the enemy. The head of Kupyansk city military administration Andriy Besedin confirmed the fighting in the outskirts of the city. Deepstate analysts noted that the enemy penetrates Kupyansk through a gas pipe, but the Armed Forces General Staff asserts that the way out of defense forces is controlled.
There are several pipelines in Kupyansk, three of the four already damaged and flooded, the military reported. DeepState also informs about the operations of the occupiers called "Truba 3. 0", similar to tactics used in Avdiivka and Sudzh. According to the military-political observer Alexander Kovalenko, Russian occupation troops intensified offensive actions in the Kupyansk area on the right bank of the Oskil River, in the northwestern part of the city. They partially managed to move along the Constitution Avenue and the streets of the Kupyansk defenders, which lead to the P-79 highway.
This route, in particular in the Radkovka and local gas station, is partially controlled by the Russian forces, which provides them with strategically important positions. On the outskirts of the city, in particular on David Luchytsky Street, there is a line of fighting, where Russian troops try to break into the city, but the forces of defense of Ukraine effectively block them. "Ukrainian troops not only hold back the enemy, but also conduct counterattacks, in particular in the Radkovka area.
The main purpose of these counterattacks is to fix themselves on the outskirts and cut Russian communications that connect Kindrashivka, Sneakers and pigeons. Particular attention is paid to the so -called" Pipes, which complicates the promotion of the invaders. In his opinion, the situation in Kupyansk remains difficult but controlled.
Information on the promotion of the enemy through the "pipe" was known not only to deepstate analysts, but also to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, which allowed to prepare in advance for such a scenario. Following the release of the Armed Forces of the village of Mirne, located on the right side of the R-79 highway, the Russian command strengthened its units in the region.
In particular, the 122nd Rifle Regiment of the 68th Motorized Rifle Division, the 272th Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 26th Tank Regiment from the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Panzer Army were involved in the offensive. These units are subordinated to the 6th All-Military Army of the Russian Federation and were transferred to strengthen the offensive actions in the direction of Golubivka-Kupyansk.
"The Russian commission probably planned the rapid promotion and consolidation on the outskirts of Kupyansk, but these attempts were not significant. settlements that are not really passionate about. In the near future, the Russian forces are likely to try to saturate the right bank of the Oscol with infantry units, acting in the mode of sabotage and intelligence groups or even full assaults.
The success of these operations will depend on the ability of the Russians to accumulate enough personnel and provide logistics for infantry attacks. "For the Armed Forces, the key task in the near future is to clean the site between Kindrashivka, Radkovka and Golubivka. This zone is of strategic importance, since its control will allow to protect Kupyansk from further assault enemy actions.
