"Russia will not stop the course of history": Zelensky turned to the UN with a universal formula of peace

According to Zelensky, the UN needs to be reformed. The aggressor should always be punished for his actions. The same applies to the Russian Federation, which says he wants peace, but does everything to continue the war. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly. During his speech, he offered the world politicians "universal formula of the world".

In his opinion, the proposal is relevant not only for Ukraine, but for any country that may be in similar circumstances. According to the President, the new formula will help reform the UN and unite the northern and southern hemispheres of the Earth. According to Zelensky, it is unfair when Africa, all of Latin America, most of Asia, all Central and Eastern Europe obey the right veto, which they never had. Zelensky said that the aggressor should always punish his actions.

During the speech, Zelensky emphasized the contradiction in the statements of Russian officials. He noted that the Russian Federation is said to be ready for negotiations, but they take action for escalation of war. It is about the announcement of mobilization in Russia and pseudo -referendums in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This indicates that Moscow wishes war.

The President noted that before the full -scale war on February 24, Ukraine held "88 rounds of negotiations" with Russia, but this did not affect it. "This is true, but Russia will not be able to stop the course of history. Humanity and international law are stronger than one terrorist state," Zelensky said. Earlier, Focus reported that Biden from the UN rostrum accused Putin of lies.

According to the US President, Moscow was not threatened and only the Kremlin was interested in a full -scale invasion of Ukraine. We will also remind that the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Lavrov flew in a special board to New York to participate in the UN General Assembly. The Russian Visas Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs and members of his delegation received at the last minute. His speech is scheduled for September 24.
