Autonomous aviation. In the US, a military drone was tested by artificial intelligence

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (Ga-ASI) conducted a test of the drone Avenger MQ-20a, which is managed by artificial intelligence. The flight duration was about 30 minutes. The flight trajectory was updated in real time: the task of the drone was to avoid opponents who used special sensors to detect it. Video day at the company was evaluated by tests as successful.

According to GA-ASI representatives, the flight "demonstrated a number of innovative opportunities" that will allow you to create a complete system of autonomous drones that will not only be able to strike but also avoid threats. "It is interesting to see how AI can be used to improve how and where we fly on unmanned systems as we increase the complexity of the battle space.
