Putin is afraid of a military coup: National Guard in Moscow in full combat capability - media

According to journalists, the 18,000th unit began to block trips and arrests in the Russian capital. ODOP is a unit of internal protection of the rapid response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which in wartime is responsible for the protection of state objects in the Russian Federation. Russian President Volodymyr Putin has placed a separate operational division (ODOP) in Moscow against the background of the state of a coup, reports the Mirror, citing sources in Ukrainian intelligence.

It is claimed that the ODOP unit intensified the protection of the Russian capital, and all military units are brought to full combat readiness. Putin's protection of 18,000 people began to arrest suspicious servicemen and establish checkpoints at the entrance to Moscow. This unit is headed by Major General Mykola Kuznetsov. Such events took place after Putin accused the special services of Ukraine of the "terrorist attack" on the Crimean Bridge.

Ukraine has not taken responsibility for what happened, there is also an opinion that explosions on the bridge occurred as a result of internal conflict in the Russian leadership. ODOP troops are a unit of internal protection of the rapid response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which deals with the protection of law enforcement in Moscow and the region, as well as issues related to the fight against terrorism and extremism.

In wartime, the protection of important state objects was entrusted to the Odop. Recall that the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine at an hour of peak, when the streets of cities were crowded. Security Specialist Jimmy Rashton, who is in Kiev, believes that the Western countries did not provide the Ukrainian government with the necessary air defense tools to defend themselves from Russian terror. Earlier, Focus reported that Russian missiles were aimed at "dismantling political regime" in Kiev.
