"Focused on all efforts": GUR told about Putin's plans for the next presidential term

According to the deputy chairman of intelligence Vadim Skibitsky, the Russian president intends not only to continue terror in Ukraine, but also wants to activate his actions in the West. Preparing for a confrontation with NATO began. A few weeks ago, Vladimir Putin was elected president of the Russian Federation. He can now actively focus on confrontation with Europe.

This was stated by the Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MOU) Vadim Skibitsky in an interview with Security Talks. According to him, after the presidential election, the enemy head intends to do a new aggression. He plans to start aggression against NATO countries. But what concerns Ukraine, the Kremlin is not yet going to change the strategy. First of all, it is about taking control of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

This is evident from the latest active assault actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the battlefield. Accordingly, we can conclude that after re -election, Vladimir Putin will continue his aggressive policy. "He has passed this next stage of the direct retention of power, and will now solve the tasks facing it against Ukraine and not only.

Such active preparation for possible confrontation with Europe, with NATO, with the United States - this has already begun at the level of statements. This is where all efforts will be concentrated now, "Vadim Skibitsky said. We will remind, on April 1 it was reported that the Russian Federation creates information conditions for the war against NATO, which is stated in the ISW report.
