Russia attacked the humanitarian column in Kherson region: fired at UN trucks from drones and artillery

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russian troops in the morning struck a hungress on the humanitarian column of the UN Humanitarian Affairs Department (UCGS) in the Belozersky community of Kherson region.

The attack was carried out using drones and artillery when cars were delivered to humanitarian assistance to the local population. According to preliminary data, four cars were marked with UN. One of them completely burned, another has suffered significant damage. Two trucks were able to leave the dangerous area. The administration reported that there were no victims of the humanitarian mission.

It is noted that transport with the UN recognition signs had nothing to do with military units, but transported food, medical products and other primary goods for residents of frontline areas. According to representatives of the regional authorities, the attack is another evidence of systematic violation of international humanitarian law by the Russian Federation.

The Kherson Ova emphasized that the actions of the occupying troops testify to purposeful terror against civilians and humanitarian structures. We will remind, Russian troops regularly fire settlements of Kherson region, including civilian objects, transport and medical institutions. Such attacks have repeatedly recorded victims among the civilians.
