"Preventive blow": Zelensky told how many military people transferred the Russian Federation to the Kursk region

According to the President of Ukraine, the number of personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Pokrovsky direction was not significantly reduced. Russia has transferred 60 thousand servicemen from Ukraine to the Kursk region. This was stated in an interview with NBC News President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the President of Ukraine, one of the goals of the breakthrough in the Kursk region was to force Moscow to remove their troops because of the 600-mile front line in Ukraine, in particular in the East. Zelensky told reporters that Russia had transferred 60,000 servicemen to Kursk from Ukraine. At the same time, the head of state specified that the number of personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Pokrovsky direction did not have significant reduction.

The President of Ukraine also stressed that he cannot say whether Ukraine plans to try to seize more Russian territory, but emphasized that Ukrainians do not need Russian land. "We do not need their land. We do not want to bring our Ukrainian way of life there," Zelensky said. He also explained that the air breakthrough in the Kursk region is a "preventive blow" to prevent the Russians from creating a buffer zone along the Ukrainian border.
