Russian experts believe that despite the statements to complete all the tests by 2023, the production will actually begin no earlier than 2025-2026. The cautious assumption made by the Russian is that "Armat" will go into mass production no earlier than 2025-2026. This is only a probable assumption, because the officials of the Russian Federation are called earlier terms. The publication notes that Russian tank schools began to buy simulators for mastering "Armat" a few years ago. In particular, the Kazan Tank College bought simulators in the fall of 2020.

Russian propagandists also claimed that Armati was allegedly used in the war against Ukraine. Based on the experience gained, they allegedly have to refine the T-14. However, there was no evidence of the use of the machine in the war zone. Initially, about 2300 T-14 tanks were planned to be purchased in the Russian Federation from 2015 to 2020. However, the tank was expensive, had a number of technical problems and disadvantages.
