New details. What is known about women's military registration in Ukraine and punishment for evasion

Shortly after the fourth time in Ukraine has extended martial law and overall mobilization, it became known how to determine which of the women should be on military registration and whether they will be punished for evasion. The relevant procedure should work in Ukraine since October 1, but women who want to join the army on a voluntary basis may not wait for this date. The initial version of the document made the conscripts almost all citizens of Ukraine, but later the list was reduced to 14 positions. Later, the question arose by what parameters will be determined by women who should be on military accounting - for the specialty or profession received during training (NACE in FOPs, records in the employment record). For a long time, government officials did not comment on this issue.

On August 17, at a briefing, the People's Deputy from the Servant of the People, a member of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedor Venislavsky said that they will resist the specialty in the diploma: “[military accounting applies to] women who received their professional education in the appropriate profession. That is not those who work not in the specialty, but those who have a document confirming their level of qualification.

" Venislavsky explained during a briefing that women who are obliged to register, but will not promptly do so, will not immediately apply rigid sanctions, but in the future, administrative responsibility may occur when evading accounting. Earlier, lawyer Natalia Feschik said that for women, as for men, administrative responsibility is provided for men. Also, if women do not get on military registration, their employers can be punished.

After establishing a military registration, women will officially become obliged and, like men, will lose the opportunity to leave Ukraine during martial law without significant official grounds. According to the chairman of the Ministry of Defense Alexei Reznikov, before the establishment of a woman is not a conscript, despite the fact that by law, during mobilization, they can call all those suitable for the service of citizens aged 18 to 60, regardless of gender.

In December 2021, before the start of a full -scale invasion of Russia, HB said that after the establishment of women's military registration, it could only be called for a martial law.

In March 2022, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense Anna Malyar stated that there is no need to mobilize women now, but in some cases they can be called on the most scarce for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of defense forces by military specialties, such as: medical, communications, computational techniques, radio electronics, drivers of auto-tractor (tracked) means, divers, mechanics and installers of aviation machines, cartography, topogeodesy, photogrammetry, aerial photosphere, printing, film-man-made, food industry, financial and economic activity.

The General Staff of Ukraine has repeatedly emphasized that mobilizing women in the Armed Forces will be exclusively on a voluntary basis. By the way, during martial law, military command may involve civilians (including women and adolescents) in the fulfillment of certain socially useful tasks. We will remind, now many women who voluntarily joined the army are served in the Armed Forces.
