"Unthinkable event": Rogozin revealed why Ukrainian drones knock down the helicopters of the Russian Federation

According to Roscosmos Exglava, Russian combat helicopters are defenseless before shock drones and require UAV detectors and HRB. The FPV-Droons of the Defense Forces of Ukraine began to strike hostile helicopters, and therefore the former head of "Roscosmos" and the Russian military "advisor" Dmitry Rogozin called on the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to protect combat aviation from Ukrainian UAVs. He posted the relevant post in his Telegram channel.

Dmitry Rogozin stated that Russian pilots had to deal with a high -tech opponent in the war. As an example, he posted a video where the Ukrainian FPV-Dron successfully affects the Russian Air Force helicopter when he loses speed at the time of attack. "Earlier is an unthinkable event, and now is a strict reality that requires immediate understanding and technical answer," the propagandist wrote.

According to Exglav Roscosmos, the onboard complex of defense of the combat helicopter is designed for threats that come from the air defense complexes, but against drones it is powerless. According to him, Russian helicopters should now be equipped with UAV frequency analyzers that identify the approach of drone-Kamikadze, as well as complexes of radio electronic struggle (HRB), combined with onboard communication equipment and navigation.

There are currently no such systems on Russian helicopters. "Such threats did not take into account the developers, and the military customers did not take them seriously," - stated Dmitry Rogozin. The former head of "Roscosmos" claims that he has already addressed this occasion both to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as well as to the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Russian Federation.

However, in his opinion, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has to solve the problem, setting the task of protecting helicopters from drones-Kamikadze. We will remind, on August 9 the sources of Focus reported that soldiers of the unit of M2 of the Center of Special Operations of the Security Service of Ukraine struck the FPV-aternal helicopter of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation MI-8 in Kursk region. The drone hit the tail of the Russian board.
