It is fair to give a chance to the Iranian people to get rid of the terrorist regime and to guarantee the safety of all the peoples who suffered from terror originating from Iran - address of the President

I wish you health! Today there is a lot of international work. Rustem Umyerov was already at the report after this week's meetings with President Trump's representatives. They discussed the main results of the meetings in Geneva, mainly regarding economic issues and reconstruction. We continue to prepare the tripartite format whenever that is. Now we see that the events in the Middle East and the Gulf region are unfolding very rapidly. Unfortunately, Ukraine knows all too well what it is about.

Although the Ukrainians never threatened Iran, the Iranian regime itself chose to be Putin's accomplice and supplied him with "shaheds", and not only with the drones themselves, but also with technologies. Iran also provided other weapons to Russia. In total, during this full-scale war, the Russians used more than 57,000 Shahed-type attack drones against Ukraine - against our people, against our cities, against our energy industry. Other nations also suffered from terror.

So it is fair to give a chance to the Iranian people to get rid of the terrorist regime. Get rid of and guarantee the safety of all peoples who suffered from terror originating from Iran. Our position is well known, and Ukraine has spoken about it several times, including the day before. It is important to save as many lives as possible. It is important not to allow the expansion of the war. Importantly, the United States is determined. And whenever there is American resolve, global criminals weaken.

The corresponding understanding should come to the Russians as well. People cannot know the day and the hour, but still, there are just answers to every evil, to terror and aggression against neighbors. We expect that the Middle East region will become safer and more stable as a result. A lot already for the sake of this change. Ukraine is ready to help every nation to increase security and justice, and fewer terrorist regimes.

Depending on the security circumstances and real diplomatic possibilities, the time and place of the next meeting between our team and the team of the United States of America - a meeting with the Russians - will be determined. Russia must end its aggression against us - against Ukraine, against all of Europe. And safety must be guaranteed. I defined updated directives for the negotiation team and our diplomatic team of Ukraine in general.

Peace is needed - real peace and real opportunities for people to live freely, live in safety. Today there was also an important meeting here, in Kyiv, with representatives of the Netherlands - a country that is one of the leaders of support for Ukraine, for our protection. I want to thank the members of the new government of the Netherlands - the vice prime minister and the minister of foreign affairs of this country - they actually arrived immediately on a visit to us, to Ukraine.

And that says a lot. I am grateful for that. I informed about the security situation and what our intelligence expects from Russia in the near future. Of course, the prospects of negotiations were discussed. I am grateful for the willingness of the Netherlands to continue to support our state and our people. Air defense is a priority. The Netherlands is doing a lot both within the PURL program and bilaterally. We will continue such cooperation.
