Syrsky stated that the Armed Forces command set seven tasks, given that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were ready to attack the Sumy region.

Because of this, for almost a week the enemy has no success near Pokrovsk, he told reporters. "In the last six days in the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy has not advanced by a meter. In other words, our strategy works," Syrsky said.

According to the general, the command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation transferred to Kursk the best landing units. In addition, parts were taken from the front line, without which the enemy will not be able to maneuver, deploy reinforcements. In addition, the number of artillery shelling and the overall intensity of battles have decreased, the general said.

He also explained CNN that Ukraine could not compete with the Russian Federation by the number of tanks, BMPs, missiles, shells, aviation, UAV, soldiers. For these reasons, Ukrainians are forced to act "smarter and more efficiently".
