Russian statistics show an increase in the number of dead Russians of the military. However, they do not recognize that this may be the cause of war in Ukraine. In the Russian Federation in 2022, almost 50% more than 50% of young Russians died than in 2019. At the same time, the vast majority of the dead - in the range of military persons, who are mobilized for the needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the war in Ukraine.

The situation was written by the authors of the Russian channel "Nessa, ie, Facts!", Which were based on the Rosstat report for 2022. The authors of the channel, which regularly publish critical information about the Kremlin's actions, compared the data on the mortality of men and women in the Russian Federation, which is revealed by the Russian statistical department.

It was found that in this way it is possible to learn about the "price of losses" that the population of Russia experiences during the invasion of Ukraine. The largest number of deaths in 2022 is among Russians, aged 20 to 49. The study gave infographics with Rosstat data.
